What Kind of Meal plans are offered with your room rates?
We offer 2 type of meal plans:
* BB - Bed & Breakfast (Includes Daily Full American Breakfast)
* MAP- Modified American Plan (Includes Daily Full American Breakfast & Diner)
Please review your rate description at the moment of booking. Meal Plan inclusions will be displayed automatically with the room rate.
What is included in each meal plan?
Full American Breakfast includes: Coffe or Tea, Fresh Orange Juice, Fresh Cocktail, Toast, Sweet Pastry, Marmalade and Butter.
Lunch OR Dinner "A la Carte" includes: Three (3) Free choices from regular restaurant menu (appetizer, main dish & dessert). One pound of fresh live lobster (in season) per person, considered as a main dish. Gratuities and drinks not included.
What is the minimum age required to visit Hotel Villa Rolandi?
Villa Rolandi welcomes guests 13 years and older. Maximum occupancy per room in our Jr. Suite and Jr. Suite Deluxe category is of 3 adults with the same bed configuration, since no extra beds or cribs are available. These room types have one king bed or two single beds available; for the 3rd person there is a sofa-bed that can be set up as a single or matrimonial extra bed.
How do I arrange my transportation from the airport to Villa Rolandi?
Villa Rolandi offers complementary Yacht services to its hotel guests during their arrival & departure days. Our yacht operating hours are from 9:30 am to 7:30pm; in case your flight has a late arrival or a very early departure we can offer special yacht services out side our operating schedule. All trips outside our schedule and your arrival/departure days have an additional cost of $80.00 USD per trip.

The exact location of the dock is: Playa Linda, Embarcadero at Km 4.5 (Hotel Zone Cancun).
ARRIVAL
Please consider that it is necessary to estimate approximately 1hr 30min for flight arrival, luggage collection, customs department and transfer from the airport to the dock.
DEPARTURE
Pease consider that it is necessary to leave at least 3 hours before your flight departure in order to be in time at the airport for international flights.
As an alternative it is also possible to take the public ferry from the Island "Ultramar", which offer an excellent service every 30 minutes. Please note that this ferry dock at a different dock in Cancun.

We also provide private ground transportation from Cancun's International Airport to our dock in Cancun; the cost of this private service for a round trip airport - dock - airport is of $ 100.00 USD plus 11% VAT per room. Subject to change without previous notice
What time is check-in and checkout? If I would like to extend my checkout time, is this possible?
All times are based on Central Standard Time.
Check-in: 3:00 p.m.
Checkout: Noon
Depending upon availability, guests can extend their checkout time to 6:00 p.m.
Late checkout charges will apply.
Does Villa Rolandi have a currency exchange?
Yes, we do have a currency exchange on premises. These services can be requested at the front desk of the hotel.
Do I need a voltage converter while staying in Villa Rolandi?
A converter in not necessary since Mexico and the US use the exact same voltage of 110V
Is a specific attire code requested for the gourmet restaurant “Casa Rolandi”?
A specific dress code is not required for lunch, for dinner casual clothes are welcome. Ladies can wear skirts while gentlemen can wear short trousers and a T-shirt. Jeans are permitted.
Do I need to make restaurant reservations?
No, reservations are not required for hotel guest during your stay at Villa Rolandi.
SPECIAL HURRICANE CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event that a hurricane directly hits Hotel Villa Rolandi while you are on vacation, we will gladly offer a certificate² for a return stay to the resort for the number of original nights³.
Cancellations: There will be No Penalties for all cancellations made 72 hours or less before a hurricane strikes. Guests must contact directly the hotel to cancel the reservation via e-mail or telephone.
No Show: No Show penalties will also be waived up to 5 days after the original traveling dates.
Rescheduling: If guests wish to postpone their vacation and travel at a later date, we will protect original rate for travel up to one year after original departure date. Bookings must be rescheduled within 30 days after a hurricane strikes. Based on availability and blackout periods apply. Rate protection will only apply to the number of original nights and number of guests booked. (Additional nights or guests will be booked at current rate). No name changes allowed.
¹Policy will go into effect once the US National Weather Center issues a Category 1 Hurricane or higher to the area and the hurricane directly hits Hotel Villa Rolandi.
²Certificate will be valid for travel between April 05 - December 25, 2011. It is non transferable, not redeemable for cash. Space is subject to availability and blackout periods apply.
